AN EXCITING gallery exhibition of paintings is now on display at Otterton Mill to celebrate the recent launch of Ray Balkwill's new book.
The book, A Picture of Devon, is a celebration of the local landscape as seen through the paintings of 22 Devon artists.
Five of the artists will be exhibiting, including Ray Balkwill, Judy Hempstead, Robert Jennison, Stephen Brown and John Hoar.
Louise Grieg-Gran, gallery manager, said "We feel privileged that Ray has chosen Otterton Mill to host this unique collaboration of artists who have all been inspired by Devon's natural beauty, yet express it in very different ways.
"From Ray's beautiful mixed media coastal scenes, to Stephen Brown's sunny beach scenes there should be something to suit all tastes."
The exhibition was delayed from early November following the devastating flooding that hit Otterton Mill on October 30.
"We're grateful to all the participating artists who have allowed us to extend the exhibition to the end of the year following the Mill's re-opening," added Louise.
The exhibition, which has run since November 29 and ends on December 31, features a book-signing by Ray on Saturday December 13 and Sunday December 14 between 1pm and 3pm.
