Trustees of Ottery Station say there are exciting developments in the pipeline as they appeal for more community support.
Despite the recent temporary suspension of youth services at the Mill Street site, committee members say the centre continues to grow in scope since it was transferred to the people of the town in late 2014.
The Reverend Mac Dick spearheaded a campaign to get the building – formerly owned by Devon County Council – reopened as a community hub, which has now been granted charitable status.
He said: “We expect to see the centre becoming even more used by the wider community and eagerly look forward to support.”
The committee is seeking enthusiastic trustees.
