THANKS to Arts Council funding, Exeter Cathedral will be lit up over three nights with incredible animation, measuring 80 by 30metres.

It marks the launch of Animated Exeter 2011 on Friday, February 18, and these pictures were taken during technical rehearsals.

Animated Exeter 2011 provides a packed programme. Festival goers can watch over 140 animation films, as well as attend industry master-classes, career-planning days, and prestigious award ceremonies.
