Ottery St Mary Years Ago is hosting an exhibition by a local historian of images of the town since Victorian times.
The exhibition features a collection of postcards, photographs, collectables and memorabilia relating to Ottery St Mary, and is open on Friday, February 25 and Saturday, February 26 at the Old Boy’s School in Yonder Street,
The collection contains images from the late 1880’s and through the two World Wars, providing an insight into the town’s past.
Peter Harris has been collecting old postcards of Ottery for more than 40 years, and now has a collection of over 700 which form part of the exhibition, and will serve to show how much, and sometimes how little, it has changed.
The exhibition will be open from 10am to 4pm and admission costs 1.50, with children under 15 free.
