SCORES of classic cars were in Exmouth on Sunday for the Devon Morris Minor Owners Club annual park up and picnic.

This year's event attracted record entries with 160 exhibits taking part.

Event organiser Lorna Moggridge, from the Devon branch of Devon Morris Minor Owners Club, said the display attracted twice the number of entries compared to the 2008 event.

The day raised £608 for the Exeter FORCE charity - the most the event had raised.

Vintage car owners from as far away as Cornwall travelled to Exmouth to show of their pride and joys.

Visitors flocked to the Imperial Recreation Ground to see the rows of vintage cars, which dated back more than 50 years old.

The Devon Morris Minor Owners Club plans to hold a similar event in 2010.
