Volunteers sought to take over annual event in 2017
Organisers of Sidmouth’s annual Christmas Day lunch are extending the hand of friendship to anyone facing the festive period alone.
Angie and Mick Carney are once again hosting the free community feast on Sunday - but are seeking volunteers to take on the event for next year
There will be a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, followed by music and entertainment. Angie said: “We know Christmas can be a very difficult time and sharing the day like this can be a huge help for anyone who is struggling.”
