BINGO will be added to the events held at Sidmouth Town Football Club in a bid to raise money to improve the building.

The non-profit making club has already undergone a number of renovations recently including a new lounge and kitchen.

Currently the club's changing rooms are being extended and the committee are hoping to make further improvements with the permission of their landlord, Sidmouth Town Council.

Terry Grove, treasurer of the club, said: "As well as extending the changing rooms we have a view to doing other things and the bingo nights will be a way of getting extra mileage."

Terry said the committee are hoping to meet with Sidmouth Town Council in the near future to discuss "furthering the ambitions" of the club.

The bingo will be on a fortnightly basis starting on Tuesday, January 27. Eyes down at 8pm and all of the usual refreshments will be available.
