A MUCH-LOVED family pet has gone missing in Sidmouth.
The Long family, of Bakers Close, last saw their black and white cat Boots on Monday, July 12. They have had him since he was a kitten. The two-year-old has strayed as far as Manstone Avenue before, but has never been gone this long. He has a white nose, four white paws, is quite fluffy and has a red collar.
Julie Long, 34, said her children Kieran, 11, Devan, eight, and Aidan, six, were missing him, as were her husband Steve and their other three cats. She’s put posters up around the town, and despite a couple of potential sightings hasn’t managed to track him down. “We’ve done everything we possibly can,” she said.
She urged anyone who might have seen him to get in touch. “There will be a reward, but I’m not sure what it will be yet, probably cash. The longer it goes on, the more it’s going to be as we’re missing him like crazy,” she said.
If you have any information about Boots’ whereabouts please call Mrs Long on 07933340524.
