Guests enjoyed Prosecco, nibbles and a show of winter season designs

Fashion and fizz have raised £250 for Sidmouth Hospiscare.

A cheque has been presented to the charity’s chief executive Gill Ryall by Nikki Dawkins from Kennaway House, where the event was held on Thursday, October 4.

Around 60 people came to the Cellar Bar for a welcome glass of Prosecco and some nibbles, followed by the the fashion show by the boutique Chapter of Sidmouth. Four models, Maureen, Suzanne, Frances and Chapter’s owner Eileen showed off some of the winter season designs from labels including Adini, Pause Café, Marble and Frank Lyman, wearing casual and formal outfits with accessories. There was also a male model, Bryan Dawkins, who escorted the ladies in the finale as they showed off their evening wear.

The event was a joint fundraiser for Kennaway House and Hospiscare. Nikki Dawkins thanked Eileen from Chapter and the other models for providing such a professional fashion show, saying they had done a “fantastic job.”
