SIDMOUTH College sixth formers got their hands dirty with a sponsored Christmas tree carry last Wednesday.

The group braved a drizzly morning to hoist up the 13ft tree and carry it for more than a mile from Sidmouth Garden Centre across Mutters Moor, along sea front and up the byes before arriving back at the college in Primley Road.

Money raised from the annual tradition will help pay for the 6th form to host a Christmas party for Millwater School children on December 10.
