BUDDING chefs taking the adult cookery classes at Sidmouth College ended the term in a festive style.
Roast chicken with home made stuffing and mince pies were on the menu on Monday evening, giving the cooks plenty of time to practice the mouth-watering recipes for Christmas day.
Lois Kelly, who runs the classes, said: "Delicious smells were coming from the kitchen and the class was happily cooking.
"It has been hugely enjoyable teaching this term. Comments from the class were that it was fun and easier learning in a group. Some said they were terrified to try cooking but actually it was really good."
Lois will be running the 'basic' and 'further' cookery classes again next term which start on Monday, January 12.
The further class has only a few spaces left but the basic class is now empty.
Anyone interested in joining can contact Lois on (01395) 577038.
