A COMMITMENT to its staff has again earned Fields of Sidmouth the Investor in People standardThe prized award requires companies to set a level of good practice for improving performance through their people. Fields originally achieved the standard in 2003, and was successfully reviewed this year.Director Trevor Roberts said:"It is very encouraging and rewarding for everyone working for the company that their efforts have again been recognised. "Having originally achieved the standard in 2003, it clearly demonstrates the company's commitment to both staff and customers."Assessor Ron Cox said: "I am delighted Fields has achieved the Investor in People standard. There is a very clear staff loyalty as well as mutual staff/management respect within the company. Staff are very enthusiastic about the business and keen to contribute to its success. They are very positive in their attitudes and clearly have a great pride in their work.
