A fire engine from Honiton raced to an Exeter Road property at around 1.30pm after its chimney had set alight.
FIRE-fighters were called to tackle a Boxing Day Blaze in Ottery last Friday.

A fire service spokesperson said: "On arrival crews found that there was a fire involving in a woodburning stove, they used chimney gear, a 135 ladder and a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire.
