Jewsons’ information day with fire crews at Middlemoor HQ

Fire crews from Middlemoor Fire Station in Exeter will be at Jewsons on Sowton Industrial Estate tomorrow (Thursday,October 7) between 10am and 1pm when they will answer fire safety questions about timber framed buildings.

Jewsons is holding an information day about this type of construction and invited Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service along to be part of the event and give it some up to date fire safety advice.

Watch Manager Paul Vowden from Middlemoor Fire Station said: “We really appreciate the opportunity Jewsons store manager Richard Ayres has given us to explain all about fire safety in relation to timber framed construction.

“We will be there with our appliance and look forward to meeting members of the public and answering their questions.”
