Four wheelie bins were destroyed in a fire outside a shop in Sidford in the early hours of this morning (Sunday).

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called to the fire at the SPAR shop in Church Street at 3.24am.

On arrival crews found smoke and flames billowing out of a wheelie bin.

Four bins were completely destroyed in the blaze and the fire also spread to a shop window.
