Collectors delighted
FLAG Day on Saturday raised �1,147 for Sidmouth Lifeboat.
Collectors appeared at various locations around the town and lifeboat crew members were stationed in Market Place between 8.30am and 3pm.
Members of the public were invited to ask questions and throw money into collection buckets.
Organisers hailed the sterling amount raised as a “great result”.
