PET PLEA: Sidmouth’s school pupils have been invited to join forces with the Dogs Trust, the UK’s largest dog welfare charity, in calling for owners to clean up after their pets.
The charity is backing the Paws up for Poop Scoop campaign as part of National Poop Scoop week, from June 11 to 17.
The cause hopes pupils highlighting the importance of cleaning up after pets will encourage dog owners to back the campaign.
Youngsters who display a promotional poster and send a photograph to the charity will receive free t-shirts for all their class.
