Constant challenges for Sidmouth garden staff in bid to beat 2,000 competitors in top awards
FOR the fourth year in a row, Sidmouth Garden Centre has reached the finals of the prestigious National Garden Centre Retailer of the Year Awards.
Up against almost 2,200 garden centres in the UK, many of which are nationally recognised and benefit from having a chain of outlets across the country, it shows just what a great achievement it is to be a finalist.
Garden centre manager James Trevett, constantly challenges staff to ensure customers are felt welcomed and enjoy their shopping environment.
The store stocks a vast selection of trees, shrubs and plants, including exotic species, as well as outdoor furniture, hard landscaping, water features, garden sculptures and tools.
Also under its roof is a popular restaurant with home-cooked food and a lifestyle gift shop, Temptation, which has recently expanded into home interiors.
