THE Friends of The Byes group’s second bulb planting stint saw 1,700 blooms planted in the space of a few hours at the beauty spot.

Volunteers braved bad weather lat Wednesday.

The day saw 1,300 scilla siberica and 400 wood anemone put in place.

Members returned on Saturday to plant bluebells and crocuses.
