A CAMPAIGN has been launched to stop anti-social behaviour in the community this Halloween and Bonfire Night.
The East Devon Community Safety Partnership has sent letters to parents and carers advising that children do not throw eggs and flour and to supervise any ‘trick or teat’ activities.
Shopkeepers have also been asked to be on their guard when selling eggs and flour.
Gerry Moore, community safety and anti social behaviour co-ordinator for East Devon said: “For several years now we have asked all members of the community to play their part in making sure that no one suffers any distress as a result of Halloween or Bonfire Night.”
Police community support officers will also be on hand to offer advice about stopping anti-social behaviour.
