Fun commando challenge beckons Sidmouth residents

FUN-SEEKING people are being urged to sign up for the Royal Marines 4k Fun Commando Challenge charity event.

FUN-SEEKING people are being urged to sign up for the Royal Marines 4k 'Fun Commando Challenge' charity event.

Teams of three or more are wanted to take on the famous course to help raise funds for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust and the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. During the 4 kilometre cross country route daredevils will face 'Sheep Dip', the 'Crocodile Pit' and 'Peters Pool', as well as underground tunnels and black bogs.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 10 at Woodbury Common and 50 per cent of the places have already been signed up.
