Town councillors unanimously voted to support measure
Civic leaders have agreed to stump up funds for a water gauge to help safeguard Tipton St John’s flood-prone primary school.
Speaking at an Ottery Town Council meeting on Monday, Mayor Glyn Dobson explained Devon County Council would initially pay for the mechanism. He said: “My own feeling is, considering all the flood risk there, we should support this.” Members unanimously agreed.
