An open garden evening on Friday (June 22) raised 420 for Sidmouth Victoria Hospital Comforts Fund.
The event, which was staged as the cause’s annual summer fundraiser, was held at Moore Hall in Sidbury by Mr and Mrs Geoffrey Holton, writes Amber Marshall.
Comforts Fund secretary Margaret Carter said: “I would like to thank everyone who helped with the day and who supports the cause.”
A Flag Day collection the previous week raised 790 for the fund.
