Railway enthusiasts will have a unique opportunity to see some of the finest railway layouts in the West Country later this month, when Exeter Garden Railway Society holds its first railway exhibition at The Matford Centre (Exeter Livestock Centre) Marsh Barton on Saturday, October 25.
The railway layouts will be displayed in the main concourse of the Exeter City Council-run venue. There will be over 18 principal layouts plus a wide range of smaller displays and 20 specialist trade suppliers. This show, which it is hoped will become one of the largest shows of its type in the region, is aimed at both the avid collector and anyone who "just likes trains" .
For a full up-to-date list of exhibitors and traders, plus photographs of several of the exhibits, please visit the show web site: www.extergardenrailwayshow
The show runs from 10.30am to 5pm. Admission prices are adults £5, children £3, and family tickets (two adults and two children) £12.
