A girls’ choir is planning to sing their hearts out to raise money for a Sidmouth church.
There will be cream tea in the churchyard at 4.30pm, before the big show commences at Salcombe Regis Church, from 5.30pm next Saturday (June 9).
Girl Choristers, of Exeter Cathedral, will be joined by Harriet Mulchrone, who grew up in Sidmouth.
Harriet, 27, was trained as a classical singer at the Royal Northern College of Music and looks forward to putting on a memorable performance. Harriet said: “I am really looking forward to it. I have never done anything like this before. This will be the first time that I have performed in a choir setting. People can expect well-known classical songs in a beautiful church setting.”
Tickets are on sale at Paragon Books in the High Street and cost £12.50 per person and include tea. All the money raised will go to The Friends of Salcombe Regis Parish Church.
