THE Donkey Sanctuary near Sidmouth will be holding a half term holiday workshop for children on Wednesday.

This interactive event will follow a Father's Day theme, which will include the opportunity to create tie shaped door hangers, Father's Day cards or rosettes and even have a go at clay moulding. There will also be colouring and a sand pit for the younger children.

Jan Aherne who runs the Education and Activities unit at The Donkey Sanctuary says: "Sessions are going to be really good fun, and will provide an ideal opportunity for children to create a unique handmade present and card for Fathers Day. Drinks and 'kiddie's meals' are available from our Hayloft Restaurant, situated next door to our Activity Centre."

No booking is required. There is a small charge of 3 per child, or 2.50 each for two or more children. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Sessions are held from 10.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Funds raised on the day will go towards helping provide sanctuary from suffering to donkeys worldwide.
