A Sidmouth youngster has scooped a top prize of £80 for her school after winning a Christmas card design competition.

Hall and Scott Estate Agents organised the contest and received entries from key stage pupils at Sidbury, Tipton St John, West Hill, Ottery St Mary and Sidmouth primary schools.

Annabelle Pyne, aged 10, was named the winner and, along with the runners-up, received a prize.

Caroline Curtis, year five and six leader at Sidmouth Primary School, said: “We will be putting the £80 towards our themed writing day, which the whole school will be involved in”.

All the entries will be on display at the estate agent’s offices in Sidmouth and Ottery until the end of December.
