In just one afternoon the High Street-based business collected £79.71 for the West of England School for Children with Little or No Sight, said ophthalmic dispensing assistant Gemma Winstone, who ran a prize draw with Tania Treneer, dispensing manager, among patients.
A suitably decorated orange cake, made by children from the school, was won by Sue Webster from Sidmouth.
"We are really pleased with how it went," said Gemma. "Some patients came in for the draw.
