Help for Heroes boost by Sidmouth RBL

MONEY raised during Sidmouth s Armed Forces Day commemorations has provided £1,516.80 for Help for Heroes Fund.

MONEY raised during Sidmouth's Armed Forces Day commemorations has provided £1,516.80 for Help for Heroes Fund.

Last Thursday the charity's county co-ordinator David Gammell received the cheque from Sidmouth branch of the Royal British Legion at a presentation evening at Sidmouth Conservative Club.

Also present were Pat Weavin, RBL welfare officer; David Powell, legion treasurer; Mr Gammell, Eileen Hodges, president of Sidmouth RBL, Kim Smith, RBL committee member, David O'Connor, RBL chairman and Clive Pryke, committee member.
