The Beer Village Heritage group is looking for volunteers to help clean the beach on New Year’s Day.

The annual tidy-up will begin at 11am at the Fine Foundation Centre on Sunday (January 1).

Last year, the event attracted 20 residents and visitors.

Participants are advised to wear gloves and to bring their own bin bags.
