Come and join us for a fun afternoon.That's the invitation from the Sidmouth Victoria Hospital Comforts Fund to their summer fete on Saturday, June 13."It's another opportunity for us thank the community for their support and, at the same time, hopefully raise a little more for the cause," says the chairman, Graham Vincent.The fete, the year's main fund raising event, will be opened at 1.30 p.m. by Sir John Cave, Vice Lord Lieutenant of Devon.Starting with a sausage sizzle, the afternoon will feature a punch and judy show, teas, books, plants, produce, bric-a-brac, tombola and face painting and slap the rat sideshows. Background music will be Dave Baldock and, if wet, the event will transfer to St John Hall.
