Hot potatoes and hot faith debates for FolkWeek

A HOT potato and a hot topic for discussion will be on offer at Sidmouth Methodist Church during FolkWeek.

A HOT potato and a hot topic for discussion will be on offer at Sidmouth Methodist Church during FolkWeek.

From Monday, August 4 to Friday, between 12.30pm and 2pm, members of Churches Together in Sidmouth will offer jacket potatoes with various fillings, and ministers from different churches offering to discuss different issues of faith for just £2.

Mike Edgecumbe, whose wife Joyce will man one of two kitchens producing around 70 hot potato meals a day, said: "Teams from all Sidmouth churches are involved. It is a chance to discuss a hot topic of faith.
