AN exhilarating fusion of fire, air, earth and water is the theme for the new Holiday on Ice production, Spirit, next February at Westpoint, situated between Sidmouth and Exeter.
Celebrated artistic director Robin Cousins, MBE, and choreographer Karen Kresge have co-produced an extravaganza of inspirational ice skating that combines the natural beauty of the four elements with global traditions and modern rhythms.
It will recreate the ethnic splendour of Asian cultures, the mysticism of Stonehenge and tribal gathering of Native American Indians.
On at Westpoint between February 16-21, Mr Cousins described the show as "Lavish, ethereal and exciting, everything a good show should be."
With more than 350 colourful costumes and a passionate musical score, Spirit offers amazing, airborne gymnastics and dance on ice, including some of the most dramatic lifts ever choreographed in a Holiday on Ice production.
Holiday on Ice celebrated its 65th anniversary this year.
