Inner Wheel of Sidmouth donates £350 to Admiral Nurse Campaign

The Inner Wheel Club of Sidmouth has given the Admiral Nurse Campaign another boost by raising £350.

President Hilary Hatherley handed over a cheque to Linda Archard, a member of the Admiral Nurse Committee, at the club’s latest meeting.

The Sid Valley Memory Café successfully raised £100,000 to cover the cost of funding a dementia specialist for two years.

Mrs Archard, who is also a trustee of the memory café, said it was ‘imperative’ to continue fundraising as the need for the nurse will always be in the valley.
