BEFORE leaving his post at Honiton last month, to take up a role at Police HQ, Middlemoor, Inspector Jim Gale wrote to Sidmouth Town Council thanking councillors for supporting its local neighbourhood policing team

BEFORE leaving his post at Honiton last month, to take up a role at Police HQ, Middlemoor, Inspector Jim Gale wrote to Sidmouth Town Council thanking councillors for supporting its local neighbourhood policing team, saying: "Working closely with partners and local councils makes policing much more effective for communities, and I am very appreciative.
