The family event, in aid of Children's Hospice South West and the Royal British Legion, will feature 70 vintage aircraft, 300 classic cars and dozens of stalls.

Organisers are also staging a separate evening music festival inside the hangar to mark the air day's 20th anniversary.

The music festival, which starts at 6pm, will have a licensed bar and is strictly for over 18s only. Tickets are £10 in advance or £15 on the day. Parking is free. For more information ring (01297) 680259.
