A poet will be reading and discussing poems from her latest book over a cream tea this Valentine’s Day (February 14).
Jeni Braund will be at Sidmouth Library from 3pm to promote Heartlands, which has been endorsed by former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams.
The former nurse had her own battle with cancer so she is donating half of the £10 cover price for Heartlands to Anthony Nolan. The book is available at Winstone’s. Tickets for the cream tea event are £3, which should be bought in advance.
