The six-day flower fest from July 1 to 6 will give residents and visitors the chance to see nine hidden beauty spots in the town.

Gardens on show in July will include the Belmont Hotel in the Esplanade, as well as areas in All Saints Road, Broadway and Woolbrook Park.

Programmes are now available from Sidmouth Information Centre.

Joy Seward, president of Sidmouth in Bloom, said: "We have to raise quite a bit because we have so much extra to find this year for watering and maintenance of our features.

"It would be great if we could get some sponsors for the planters around the car parks and hanging baskets which would help tremendously It is so difficult to raise enough money to pay for everything each year.
