IF YOU are in the mood for a challenge, National Trust warden Stuart Britton has come up with a Jurassic one.
Join him for a day hike along the stunning Jurassic coastline from Branscombe to Sidmouth on Saturday (August 15) on the beautiful and varied section of coast path.
Through the eyes of East Devon's area warden, you will discover the challenges of managing conservation and access along this piece of coast; modern day shipwrecks - although the Napoli has now gone - eroding cliffs and coastal grazing.
The walk explores steep wooded combes but you are rewarded with breathtaking views on this challenging but unforgettable day's walk.
Stuart said: "I know I'm biased, but this is a particularly beautiful section of the Jurassic coast.
"I am keen to share with people how we manage such a varied landscape and hopefully even surprise some of our regular visitors with some of the rich history and wildlife of the area they might not know about."
