LATEST figures by police show there were four reported crimes in Beer and one in Branscombe last month.
The incidents in Beer relate to two assaults, criminal damage and selling alcohol to a youth.
Three men are currently on police bail in connection with an alleged assault on two men on October 24.
Officers are still appealing for information about damage done to a parking meter in the top car park of Common Lane between October 23 and 24. It is believed the offender was trying to get money out of the machine.
The fourth crime relates to an operation carried out by police and Trading standards where a shop assistant was fined �80 for selling alcohol to a person aged under 18.
These figures show a drop in crime compared to September which had six reports.

In Branscombe a vehicle was broken into at the Square between October 23 and 24.
There was also one crime in the village in September.
