LATIN musicians will be performing a special concert in Branscombe next week. Organised by Branscombe village hall roof committee in conjunction with Villages in Action, Omar Puente and Cubania will be setting the stage alight with their Spanish inspired music.

The group comprises of Cuban Omar and Columbian born Dorance Elorza and Elpideo Caicedo.

Spanish speakers, led by Richard Maskrey, will be hosting the evening and making sure everything runs smoothly as the musicians can not speak English.

All proceeds will go towards the village hall roof fund, which has raised nearly £80,000 to date.

The performance will take place at Branscombe Village Hall on Thursday, January 22 at 7.30pm.

Tickets (Adult £12.50, Children £10.50) are available from Branscombe Post Office, (01297) 680225, or can be purchased on the door.

A light meal based on Cuban recipes will be served during the evening and is included in the price. There will also be a bar and a raffle.
