Library book bonanza for Sidmouth College

BOOKS of all types have been funded by Sidmouth College students for their library, paid for from a sponsored walk. The students raised about £3,500 for the library from the walk, which took place last October.

The students raised about £3,500 for the library from the walk, which took place last October.

Once all the money was in, librarians set about choosing a mixture of both popular fiction and non-fiction to suit all tastes and abilities, after first giving the students the opportunity to fill in the wish-list kept on the counter.

College Librarian Sue Willey said: "We'd like to say thank you to all who contributed.
