Sidmouth Library is running a reading group aimed at those with memory loss and their carers.
The initiative is in conjunction with Devon County Council’s ‘Feel Better With a Book’ scheme. Group facilitator Maureen Thurlow leads similar informal sessions in Exeter. She begins by reading a short poem or story and holds a discussion with members about what they heard.
