Lifeboat encounter for flag day

A CHANCE to get up close to Sidmouth s inshore lifeboat and meet its crew, takes place on Saturday, August 9, when both will be in Market Place collecting for Sidmouth Lifeboat flag day.

A CHANCE to get up close to Sidmouth's inshore lifeboat and meet its crew, takes place on Saturday, August 9, when both will be in Market Place collecting for Sidmouth Lifeboat flag day.

"It gives residents and visitors the chance to look at the boat first hand and a lot of the crew will be there as well," said lifeboat trustee Freddy Wedderburn.

"They will still be on duty, so if anyone hears the maroons go they had better get out of the way!
