An impressive line-up of performers has been announced, and the new elements of the festival, introduced last year, will be there again after proving extremely popular.

Beautiful Days takes place in the grounds of Escot House near Ottery St Mary, and runs from Friday, August 21 until Sunday 23.

Among the main acts are the Celtic punk rockers Flogging Molly and the indie-rock band Travis, who will top the bill on Friday and Saturday night respectively.

Other big names are Gary Numan, Hawkwind, New Model Army, Indigo Girls, Imelda May, Skindred, Show of Hands and The Orb - and of course the festival's founders, The Levellers.

The Theatre Tent, a seated venue, also has an exciting line-up. The Circus of Horrors will bring a combination of black comedy and thrilling stunts to the stage, referencing Victorian freak shows and burlesque. Also on the bill are the house band on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, 4 Poofs & a Piano, Bash Street Theatre, Rubbish Shakespeare Company, Le Navet Bete, Spitz & Co, Dan The Hat, Entertainingly Different and their ever popular Rise'n' Shine sessions.

A host of other bands and artistes will be taking to the stages throughout the festival, with something for all ages and musical tastes. More is still to be announced for all stages, along with The Bimble Inn and The Rebel Tent. For festival-goers who are also musicians, the pop-up folk/roots sessions curated by Seth Lakeman's father Geoff offer a chance to play.

The Wild Spa, introduced at last year's festival, will again be at the top of the main arena with wood-fired hot tubs, a wood-fired sauna yurt, hot and cold showers, private changing rooms and a Bedouin-style chill-out lounge. Also new to 2019, the tipis, yurts and bell tents will again be available for hire in the garden section of the Barleyfields campsite.

As always, Sunday is fancy dress day, and this year's theme is Mad Hats, inviting festival-goers to design their costumes around a fantastic headpiece.
