On June 7, Sid Valley Cubs, Scouts and Beavers will be just some of the groups taking part in Sidmouth Lions Club's Youth Variety Showcase. The show is at 7.30pm at the Manor Pavilion Theatre in Sidmouth. To open the show, Sid Valley Scouts, Cubs and Beavers will be performing sketches and songs in a traditional campfire setting. As well as them, talented local girl Niki Campbell, who recently won a scholarship to a top theatre arts school in Surrey, will be entertaining with singing and dancing. Air Cadets from 2019 (Sidmouth) Squadron ATC have created a very amusing sketch and the brilliant Funkifeet dancers will set everyone's feet tapping. The show's compere is Wally Cotgrave.Tickets are £8 for adults and £6 for children under 13, and are available from the Manor Pavilion Theatre box office (01395) 514413 from 10am to 2pm Tuesday to Saturday.
