POLICE are warning Beer and Branscombe residents not to leave valuables on display in their cars after two cars were broken into in three days.

On Saturday, November 13, a make-up bag and its contents was stolen from a Renault parked outside the Fountain Head, Branscombe (crime ref KN/10/451). On Tuesday, November 16, a CD player, CDs and sunglasses were stolen from a Peugeot parked in Underleys, Beer (crime ref KN/10/457).

These incidents came after a mobile phone, CDs, torch and sunglasses were stolen from a Peugeot parked at Colyton Grammar School on Thursday, November 11 (crime ref KN/10/448).

Seaton Rural neighbourhood beat manager, PC Steve Speariett, said: “If possible, take your valuables with you or lock them out of sight.”
