A LORRY was left toppled on its side for nearly five hours in Sidmouth last Thursday (August 6).
Police were forced to close part of the A3052 for half an hour at around 8pm as recovery crews came to the aid of the stricken lorry, which had tipped onto its side on Trow Hill at 3.36pm.
Cars were able to pass the lorry, but, "with some difficulty" said a police spokeswoman.
