A PLOUGHMAN’S lunnch held by Sidmouth Friends of Samaritans in Sidmouth Methodist Hall raised �342.
The friends’ publicity officer Denis Jonas said the committee appreciated the favourable comments made by visitors to the event.
He said: “We would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed in any way, with special thanks to our loyal group of helpers; to Patrick Walker and his hard working team in the kitchen, and to David and Mavis Baldock with their street organ.
