Man, 73, died in car fire outside Sidmouth, police confirm

Police have identified a body found in a car that was on fire outside Tipton St John as that of a 73-year-old man.
Officers are yet to reveal the man’s identity as his next of kin have yet to be informed.
Police are not treating the incident as suspicious.
Emergency services were called to Seaway Lane just before 1.30pm on Tuesday (November 8).
Two fire appliances attended and extinguished the flames.

A police spokesman said: “Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident but are not treating this as suspicious.”
